Our camps give pride of place to inquiry, which helps to build critical thinking skills. Campers should expect to play and have fun, while also thinking and engaging with ideas.

Digital U explores the realm of digital technologies and how they’ve become a part of our world! This camp will give you plenty of time to create in the digital world, the real world, and the real-digital world. Visit a 3D printer to bring to life an object of your own design; scavenge resources for some real DIY projects; play a real-life version of minecraft; and puzzle over what it means to be an expert, given that we can learn anything online.

Digital U's defining feature is its insistence on looking at old stuff in new ways, and new stuff in old ways. It will explore questions like "How big is the internet?"; "Can someone be an expert in anything?"; and "Are we discovering these items, or inventing them?"
Maximum of 24 campers per week.

Please note that this description is meant to capture themes for the camp. Our actual programming is always growing and evolving. To learn more about actual activities for the current camp season, send us an email from our contact page.
